EA is to launch Battlefield 4 Premium Edition later this month, packaging last year's shooter with all subsequently released DLC.
It will include the base game and a Battlefield 4 Premium membership, which provides access to five themed expansion packs offering a host of multiplayer content, plus other benefits like priority position in server queues.
Battlefield 4 Premium Edition will launch on October 21 in North America on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and PS3, with all versions priced at $59.99.
It will be available in the UK on Origin for PC from October 21, priced at £39.99. It will be released digitally on PS4, Xbox One and PS3 on October 24, with the new-gen versions priced at £54.99 and the last-gen one at £39.99.
An EA spokesperson told ShackNews that Battlefield 4 Premium Edition won't be released on Xbox 360 due to "technical limitations".
Battlefield 4 launched last October to a positive critical reception. While the game was praised for its ambition and scope, it has been marred by online problems that are still being addressed to this day.
In June, EA CEO Andrew Wilson labelled Battlefield 4's bungled launch"unacceptable" and promised that the company had made a number of changes to development processes in order to avoid a repeat situation.
